Happy Halloween, everyone! As a former elementary school teacher, I know the feeling of d r e a d that will be filling teachers’ minds from 8am-3pm. hahahaha
It’s like herding cats. Or attempting to tame caged animals. Or when the grandparents come over and commence a chasing-screaming-wrestling fest right before bedtime and then slink out the door with a big grin. Yeah, like that! (I’m looking at you, Papa!)
I’m sure I will be asked “Is it time to get our costumes on yet?” and “Can we go get the candy now?” approx. 50 bajillion times by my kids today.
But I’m just rejoicing that it’s the one day my 4 year old son will actually be “playing dress up” in a gender-appropriate costume, instead of asking me to take pictures of him in pink tutus and purple princess high heels all afternoon after playing with his sister. Got.to.get.more.boy.costumes!! 
Have a safe and fun holiday everybody and I’ll see you back here tomorrow for a C.U.T.E. felt birthday cake centerpiece that can also double as a gift box…oh yeah, you’re gonna want to make one, too.
